Industrialized Building System
Introduction
In a group of 5, we were required to choose a building to conduct a study on a building preferably an apartment. Project 1 is a group project which is related to the topics of Industrialized Building System (IBS).
We were required to design simple apartment units using the IBS construction system. This was to expose us to a critical and analytical study of the different IBS construction methods and engage in the assessment of IBS scoring.
Lastly, we also had to construct a physical sectional model of the building to show the IBS components in detail.
